PEER REVIEW PROCESS
Manuscripts submitted to EPASA MOTO undergo a rigorous peer review process aimed at ensuring academic quality, scientific relevance and originality.
All submissions are initially reviewed by the editorial team to assess their alignment with the journal’s focus and scope, editorial policies and formal submission requirements. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected at this stage.
Submissions approved in the initial screening are forwarded for double-blind peer review, in which the identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential. Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two ad hoc reviewers with expertise in the relevant subject area. Reviewers assess the originality of the work, theoretical and methodological consistency, relevance of the topic, clarity of argumentation and contribution to the field.
Based on the reviewers’ reports, the editorial decision may result in acceptance, a request for revisions or rejection. When revisions are requested, authors must submit a revised version of the manuscript, which may be reassessed by the reviewers or by the editorial team, as appropriate. The final decision regarding publication rests with the journal’s editorial board.
